Four time CY Young winner Greg Maddux got win #350 when he the San Diego Padres to a 3-2 victory over the Colorado Rockies on Saturday night.
The 42-year-old Maddux (3-3) who also has a record 17 Golden Glove awards became the ninth pitcher in MLB history to win 350 games.
Meanwhile, the New York Yankees posted a 5-2 win over the Detroit Tigers with Derek Jeter hitting his first home run of the new season. It only took him 128 at bats to get off the mark.
