Nadal Suffers Shock Loss at Rome Open

The Tennis world is in shock after Spaniard Rafael Nadal lost to countryman Juan Carlos Ferrero 7-5, 6-1 at the Rome Masters. It was just the second loss suffered by the 21 year old Nadal in his last 105 matches on clay.

Nadal has dominated on clay since being beaten by world No.1 Roger Federer in the Hamburg final last May, winning four titles.

Ferrero was an outsider in this contest having lost his last seven matches to Nadal who had won his last two tournaments at both Monte Carlo and Barcelona.
