Big Brown Demolishes Kentucky Derby Rivals

The Richard Dutrow jnr trained Big Brown made a one act affair of the 134th edition of the Kentucky Derby in Louisville, kentucky, by romping to a five length victory from the gallant filly Eight Belles who sadly had to be euthanazed after breaking both ankles on pulling up.

Big Brown created some history in his derby win becoming the first horse to score from gate 20 since 1915 and became the first Kentucky Derby winner with less than five starts to salute the judge first since 1918.
