Menangle Trots at Menangle Park Paceway

Stern Legacy a Fixed NBA

NBA Commissioner David Stern is in a bit of an NBA fix these days with the majority of sport fans and the general public believing the words of former NBA referee Tim Donaghy. Well, what can I say. Big Brown Flops in Triple Crown Attempt says it all doesn’t it. I had my doubt over his ability to run the distance. The horse is a superstar sprinter-miler and will no doubt be a well sough after commoditiy when he goes to stud but he simply looked too brilliant to be able to run any sort of loing distance.

Only downside was that the Japanese raider was a scratching so it was a case of watching them go around for me.  Do you think he would have won? So do I.

I should really do some bragging here because not too many “experts” were wiling to put their neck on the line and say Big Brown wasn’t going to win after the way he demolished his  rivals so effortlessly in the Kentucky Derby and the Preakness Stakes before his failure in the Belmont Stakes. I did also give out the sports bet of the century…which was 2-0 a winner
